It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Ayers (Charles City, Iowa), born in Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Schmidt and Ardis Schmidt (Stebbins); and her brother Steven Schmidt (Heidi). She is survived by: her husband David Ayers; her children, Jake Kiroff, Eric Ayers (Ashlee), Jessica Hoy, Cody Kiroff (Meghan), Sarah Meusel (Chase) and Chris Ayers (Aleta); her grandchildren, Eliza, Eric II, Maylee, Ryland Hoy, Kennedy, Corbin Kiroff, Aubrey, Bennett Meusel and Deku Ayers; her sister Sandra Smith (Bob); her siblings-in-law, John Ayers (Angie) and Susan Jespersen; and her close friend Rose.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorials be directed to the Charles City Rotary Club.
