It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Thorson (Charles City, Iowa), who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Knutson and Virginia Knutson; her sister Rita Knutson (Elmer); her parents-in-law, Don and Ruby Thorson; and her sister-in-law Lisa Thorson.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Thorson; her son Chad (Thorson); her daughter-in-law Michelle Thorson; her grandson Donald A. Thorson; her daughter Joanna Thorson (Kristopher Bills); her granddaughters, Anya Beinhoff and Lilly Beinhoff; her son Neil Thorson; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Thorson; and her sister Linda Miller. She is also survived by 1 niece and 3 nephews.
