It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell L. Mullen (Charles City, Iowa), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Abraham Mullen and Ruby Pearl Mullen (Studer); his son Michael Lee; and his brother Richard Mullen. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Jensen; his pets, Rusty and Mia; his children, Shelley Pahnisch (Sheldon) of Nashua and Bill Mullen (Michelle) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Andrew Pahnisch, Makenzie Pahnisch, Ashley Pahnisch, Samantha Mullen, Joseph Mullen and Max Pahnisch; his great grandchildren, Charli Callison and Talan Pahnisch; his brothers, Dennis Mullen (Marilyn) of Rockford and Larry Mullen (Lorriane) of Charles City; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Ellefson of Corwith and Mary Jo Mullen of St. Louis Park, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, he would have been overjoyed to have donations given to local animal shelters.
