He was predeceased by: his parents, Siefka Tjaden and Elizabeth Tjaden (Grassman); his parent-in-law Galen; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Hoy and Mitzi Tjaden.
He is survived by: his wife Navy; his grandchildren, Jennifer Kramer (Dean Mahlstedt) of Clear, Cody Kramer of St Paul and Tjaden Kramer (Walker Winkleman) of Clear Lake; his great grandchild Jaxson Juel Miller; his brother Roy of Clebourne, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Ricks (Al) of Grinnell, Iowa and Gayle Hoy of Floyd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
