He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Roethler and Irene Roethler (Brown); his grandson Christian Roethler; his siblings, Ramona Gerhardt, Adeline Roethler, Angeline Roethler, Russel Roethler, Arthur Roethler and Joseph Roethler; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Drewelow, Duane Gerhardt, Bernard Necas and Dan Peine; and his nephews, Briann Necas and Jerry Roethler.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Drewelow; his children, Rhonda Wehling (Larry), Roger Roethler and Robert Roethler (Karen); his grandchildren, Briann Petersen (Travis), Kayla McCarty (Patrick), Cortney Matt (Dalton), Allison Wehling, Miranda Wehling, Taylor Wehling and Tristan Roethler; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn Petersen, Gracie Petersen, Jacob Petersen, Harper McCarty, Ethan Matt and Ava Matt; his siblings, Rich Roethler (Mary Lou) and Fluoriene Necas; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Roethler, Dave Drewelow (Linda), Vern Drewelow, Karen Kane (Rod), Rita Fisher (Darwin) and Barb Kottke (Andrew). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
