He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Freese and Margaret Freese (Duncan); his parents-in-law, Elmer and Myrtle Girkin; his brother Paul Freese; his granddaughter Jennifer Carolan; and his siblings-in-law, Marge Freese, Bud Girkin, Alvin Girkin, Robert Sekander and Rudy D'Angelo.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Freese; his daughters, Marianne Carolan (John) and Lisa Cotter; his grandchildren, Jason Carolan (Kellie), Jamie Carolan (Jessica), Rob Cotter (Holly), Patrick Cotter (Rebekah) and Lillian Cotter; his great grandchildren, Trevor Carolan, Kaitlyn (Shawn), Kristyn (Tony) and Madelyn Pellymonter (Lally); his great great grandchild Leo Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Girkin (Linda), Arlene Sekander, Joyce D'Angelo and Shirley Girkin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
