He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Donald and Lucile; his parents-in-law, Jesse, Wyonna Delap and Joseph Logan, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Penny Jaegar (Delap), Steve Martin and Paul Logan; his grandson John Allan Duncan; and his close friend Roger Sweet.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Duncan (Logan); his children, Jeff Duncan (Kim) of Marion, IA, Bill Duncan (Marsha) of Charles City, IA, Patti Putney (Frank) of Spring Grove, IL and Wendi Duncan of Charles City, IA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kara, Allan, Hollee, Megan, Britton, Jessica, Sarah (Dan), Sam (Danny), Jesse and Myckaela; his great grandchildren, Madi and Max; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Delap (Janet), Joe Logan, Jr., Jeanne Martin (late Steve), Phyllis Corey (John) and Ruth Logan Grey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Beyond spending time with family, taking vacations, and going camping, he enjoyed dancing, carpentry, making things for others, donating blood (gallons), and his duties to the church and Sheriff's department.
