He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Immel and Hazel Immel (Meyer); his son Michael; and his brothers, William and Raymond Immel.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian DeMar of Charles City; his siblings, Jack Immel (Muriel) of Bettendorf and Laurel Gifford (Dennis) of Keota; his mother-in-law Ardis DeMar of Charles City; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Pirhonen (Henry) of Mason City and Raymond DeMar (Lyn) of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
