He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ritter and Marcella Ritter (Conley); and his siblings, Donna Stoffel, Joann Sweet, Donald, Richard and Wallace Ritter.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Charles City; his children, Linda Kuncl (Tom Naughton) of Iowa City, Marlene Cordes (Rick) of Charles City, Duane Ritter (Julie) of Charles City and LuAnn Kissell (Kim) of Peosta; his grandchildren, Andrew Cordes (Brian Teichman), Jason Cordes (Amber), Brad Ritter (Samantha), Brooke Peters (Joe), Kelsey Gerlits (Vincent), Todd Kuncl, Mackenzie Kissell and Garrett Kissell; his great grandchildren, J. J., Jordin, Jadelyn, Quentin, Addison, Connor, Sawyer, Jasper and Loretta; and his brother Roger Ritter of Charles City.
