She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Chapin and Rosemary Chapin (Glasgow); her grandparents, William Densmore and Rosetta Chapin (Bennett); her sister Mary Rowley; her brothers-in-law, Kenny Rowley, Bob Helle and Dale Borlaug; and her former husband Allyn William Buenger.
She is survived by: her son Brent Allyn Buenger (Jennifer); her grandson Bode Buenger of Vail Arizona; and her siblings, Carol Bruch (Tom), Marion, Esther Burlage (Cy), Rosalyn Miller (Melvin) of Ionia, AJ Meyer (Kelly), Steve Chapin (Virjean), New Hampton, Cindy Helle and Larry Chapin (Mary) of Nebraska City, NE. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
