It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Hillis of Charles City, Iowa, born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nyle Jackson and Katherine Jackson (Heal); her husband Marlyn Hillis; her son Steven Hillis; her siblings, Darlene, June, Lillian "TeeTee", Alvin and James; and her stepfather Dexter Holton.

She is survived by: her children, Orville Hillis (Tracy), Alan Hillis (Lori), Nancy Hahn (Harold), Mary Lyons (Shaun) and Kathy Hillis; her grandchildren, Audrey (Adam), Nycole, Ethan, Tyler, Collin, Cody and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Imigin, Xander, Noah, Isaac and Coryn; and her sister Mary. She is also survived by her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
