She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice May Haugland (Thompson) and Arnold Haugland; and her sister Elizabeth Buck. She is survived by: her husband Larry Edward Tjaden; her children, Scott Edward (Jennifer) and Debra Stanbro (Chuck); her grandchildren, Kacey Cook (Seth), Justin Stanbro (Jacey), Madelyn Tjaden, Max Tjaden and Myles Tjaden; her great grandchildren, Bennett, Aleyah and Callum; and her sisters, Patricia Cirksena, Cynthia Williamson and Kathleen Tichenor (Dennis).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests giving memorials to Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Croix Hospice both in Charles City.
