Karen Praska Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Praska of Charles City, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Weida and Ruby Weida (Peterson); her granddaughter Drew; and her daughter-in-law Editha. She is survived by: her husband Don Praska; her children, Konnie Biro (Praska) of Spring Lake, Donald Praska Jr., Darrin Praska of Chandler, Kristie Tegtmeier (Praska) of Jacksonville and Korrie Luna (Praska) of Waterloo, Iowa; her grandchildren, Ryan, DJ, Jessica, Kourtney, Kassandra, Darian, Derek and Skyler; and her siblings, Joe, Chuck, John, Tom, Kathy and Karolyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family that will be donated in memory of Karen to Immaculate Conception School and the Charles City Library in honor of her love of books.
