She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dahlen and Gladys Derganz; and her husband Dale Hinz. She is survived by: her former husband Harold Brincks of Decorah, Iowa.; her children, Paula Givens of Ames, Iowa and Jason Brincks of Charles City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Mike Givens of Englewood and Rachael Givens of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her brother Gene Dahlen; her sister-in-law Barbara Dahlen of Waterloo, Iowa; her nephew Mark Dahlen; and her niece Melissa Dawson.
