She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Hartwell and Ruth Hartwell (Treloar); her brother Jerry Hartwell; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Strickler and Terry Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Bonzer; her children, Craig, Wendy Bonzer (Caster) of Mason City, Scott Bonzer of Colorado Springs and Curt Bonzer of Mason City; her grandchildren, Riley Bonzer of Ames, Emily Bonzer of Cedar Falls, Tessa Bonzer of Colorado Springs and Matei Bonzer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sister Joan Strickler of Allison; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Hartwell of Charles City, Murial Short of Tucson, Arizona and G. Ann Smith of Tucson, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to PAWS Humane Society in Charles City.
