With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Jacobs (Charles City, Iowa), born in Rockwell, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Evelyn Ruth Jacobs (Menter); and his sisters, Sandra and Karen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kathleen; his children, Bruce Jacobs (Tricia) of Rochester Hills, MI, Brian Jacobs (Laura Seifert) of Rochester, MN, Brad Jacobs (Dawn) of Charlottesville, VA, Brent Jacobs (Shannon) of Sterling, IL, Brooke Shrum (Scott) of Ankeny, IA, Betrenna Jacobs of Grimes, IA, Hayley Jacobs (Phillip Fierova) of Dexter, MN and Brenda Ungs (James) of Hampton, IA; and his sister Alice Zweck. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
