He is survived by: his children, Marcy Bean of Charles City, Wade Childs (Cindy) of Charles City and Wylie Childs (Diana) of Charles City; his grandchildren, Wayland Bean (Darla), Derrick Bean (Cassie), Seth Bean, Elizabeth Schaefer (Jake), Isaac Childs, Brittany Childs, Jared Childs, Brandon Childs, Anthony Childs, Ricardo Guzman and Oscar Guzman; his sisters, Pat Janssen of Arkansas, Peggy Lee (Charlie) of Illinois and Pam Davis of Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Bel Childs of Texas.
