She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Rath and Lydia Rath (Gabelmann); her husband Dallas; and her siblings, Frederick, Adolph Rath, Martha Wilken, Sara Helm and Leah Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Wood (JoAnn) of Dauphin Island, Alabama, Diane Bellinger of Charles City and Cindy Long (Brian) of Mason City; her grandchildren, Graham Wood (Michelle) of Cedar Rapids, Eric Wood (Andrea) of Minneapolis, Shannon Nesbit (Chris), Stephanie Kellar and Melanie Bellinger of Jacksonville, Florida; and her great grandchildren, Aidan Wood, Jocelyn Wood, Jensen Wood, Cecilia Wood, Zachary Wood, Elliot Kellar, Finley Kellar, Harper Kellar, Kendall Nesbit and Adriana Nesbit. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family funeral service will be held at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City with Erik Hoefer from Messiah Lutheran Church officiating.
