He is survived by: his wife Mabel J. Weiner; his children, Lori Quade (Dave), Ron Stewart (Theresa), Kelly Abbott (Randy), Charles Stewart (Angie), Tammy Martinson (Joe) and Tim Stewart (Ardith); his grandchildren, Travis Thiele (Lisa), Trent Thiele (Kris), Terry Thiele, Kevin Stewart (Kelly), Ellen Stewart, Grant Stewart (Corrine Owens), Heather Stansbrough (Michael), Derek Abbott (Bridgette), Adam Abbott (Dana), Cody Stewart, Ashley Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Danielle Stewart, Dylan Stewart, Amanda Sylvester, Lillian Martinson, Brittany Stewart and Noah Stewart; his sisters, June Leaman of Rudd, Mary Stansberry of Loveland and Norma Wamsley (Vernon) of Sun City, Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Juanita Stewart of Charles City and Carol Finger (Gary) of Charles City.
