It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Riden (Charles City, Iowa), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Riden and Margaret Riden (Wedeking); and his wife Sheila. He is survived by: his close friend George Mitchell; his daughters, Somer Diercks (Ben) of Genesee and Andrea Heitz (Alex) of Charles City; his grandchildren, Katie (Alex), Seth, Derrick, Damien, Carter, Olivia and LuLu; his great grandchild Jeremiah; his sister Mona Staudt of Charles City; and his sister-in-law Jan Adams (Brian) of Osage. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren and especially his great-grandson.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family memorial service will be held at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Hansen officiating.
