He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Tayler Tiedemann; his wife Lori Griffin of Charles City; his children, Meghan Griffin of Charles City and Tyler Griffin (Tayler) of Charles City; and his siblings, Gordon Griffin (Brenda) of Thomson, Georgia, Debra Auringer of Mason City, Kenneth Griffin (Lisa) of Rudd, Denise Griffin of Charles City, Danny Joe Griffin of Charles City and Tammy Boggess (Daniel) of Chetek, Wisconsin. He is also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces/Nephews, and Great-Nieces/Nephews.
