It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Ahrenholz of Charles City, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sage and Eleanor Ann Sage (Nellie Brown); her sister Jane Clippinger (Sage); her husband Marion Ahrenholz; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Jessie Ahrenholz; her brother-in-law Darwin Clippinger; her brothers, Andrew (Katherine Ahrenholz), Henry (Catherine Ahrenholz), Dr. Albert (Anne Nesbit) and Dr. Donald (Lynne Ahrenholz); her daughter-in-law Diana Ahrenholz; and her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Schuelke, Karen Ahrenholz, Wayne Ahrenholz, Alan Ahrenholz and Dr. Larry Nesbit.
She is survived by: her children, Linda and Paul; and also, Steve Meneley and Deb Ahrenholz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used towards children's ministry and missions.
