She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Zipse and Myrtle Zipse (Slick); her husbands, Ervin Boerschel and David Markle; and her sister Ardella Morrison.
She is survived by: her close friend Vern Wikner; her sons, Bruce Boerschel (Viva) of Charles City and Bryan Boerschel of Alexandria, Minnesota; her grandson Bobby Boerschel (Erin) of Lakeville; her great grandchildren, Derek and Caleb Boerschel; her granddaughter Becky Boerschel of Charles City; her great grandchildren, Kinleigh and Kielyn Bahe; and her brother Harry Zipse (Vivian) of New Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church.
