He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mandt and Evelyn Mandt (Potter); his uncle Bert; his aunt Stella Kaasa; and his sister Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hamm; his children, Josh Mandt (Noel Christley), Jennifer Mandt (Leonard Harris) and Donald Harris of Charles City; his grandchildren, Joshua Mandt, Jr., Jayla Mandt, Remmi Christley, Leonard Harris, Jr. and Aaliyah Harris (Lillyana Harris); and his cousin Rosetta Todd.
