It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Mae Kasel (Charles City, Iowa), born in Appleton, Minnesota, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozro Kramer and Mary "Freesh" Kramer; her husband Raymond Thome; and her brothers, Arnold Kramer and Leroy Kramer.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Kasel; her children, Leroy (Cathy Thome) of Anderson Island and Raelyn Thome Schrader (Allen Schrader) of McHenry, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Thome Ward (Luke), Christopher Thome (Chrissy), Michele Schrader Garner and Michael Schrader (Cassie); her great grandchildren, Eve and Ottaway; and her stepdaughters, Sharon Jones (Harlan), Dorothy Morison (Mark) and Mary Lou Plante (Randy). She is also survived by Nine step grandchildren, sixteen great step grandchildren and one great great step grandchild.
