It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda D Gookin (Chariton, Iowa), born in Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Roger Gookin; her sons, Mike Gookin (Mary), Joe Gookin (Kellie) and Doug Gookin (Karen); her siblings, John Fothergill and Dalene Mullins (Jack); her grandchildren, Heather Johnson (Ryan), Chad Gookin (Britni), Amber Heins, Emily Arp (Tyler), April (Levi Clark), Joe and Tyler Gookin; her great grandchildren, Addison, Hayden, Josh, Amber, Jordan, Skyler, Jocelyn, Paisley, Adrien and Lily; and her great great grandchildren, Jayce, Shane, Raydon, Shah Kahn, Orion, Case and Maverick.
Memorials may be given in Wanda's name to Russell Methodist Church or Care Initiatives Activity Department in Chariton.
