He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Sams; and his brother-in-law Jeremy Courtney. He is survived by: his mother Elaine Whitlatch Sams; and his siblings, Charles Sams (Dana), Walter Sams (Janelle), Louise Courtney and Connie Cleek (Eddie Benda). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Tony's honor may be made to the Chariton Christian Union Church.
