With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ron Ruddell of Chariton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ron Ruddell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise M. Ron and William "Joe" Ruddell Jr. Ron; his wife Ruth Dachenbach; and his sudden death crushed Ron. He is survived by: his sister Terry Jo Jackson (Dwayne); and his close friends, Matt, Nancy Lahart, Tony and Mel Irving. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Chariton Cemetery (901 S Main St, Chariton, IA 50049).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ron's memory to the First Presbyterian Church in Chariton, the Lucas County 4-H, or to the Pin Oak Marsh.
