Phil Purdy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Purdy (Chariton, Iowa), born in Guthrie Center, Iowa, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Purdy and Hope Purdy; and his siblings, Lorna, Lois, Gertrude, Francis, Margaret, Gail, Bud, Roger, Max and Keith.

He is survived by: his friends, Chuck and Murldene Wyatt; his wife Caroldene Clevenger; his son Greg (Toni); his grandchildren, Shaay and Leif Purdy; his daughter Diane Hawkinson (Gary); and his grandsons, Dan and Jason Hawkinson.
