He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowe and James Gertrude Hutchinson; his son Steve Lowe; and his brothers, Duane Lowe, Sam Byers and Wayne Byers.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Vanderpol, Jackie Althof, Rawnene Shunk and Rick Shunk. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be direct toward American Cancer Society.
