He is survived by: his children, Betty Balzen (Sterling), Mike Sams, Melody Hird (Joe) and Terri Harris (Albert); and his sister Elizabeth Offenburger (Bill). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews.
