She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo F. Kelley and Mary E. Smith Kelley; her husband Hobart C. Sims; and her siblings, James, Donna Jean Wilson, Johanna Weir and Barbara Ripperger.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Nelson Sims (Mickey Joan) of Haslet, TX; her grandchildren, Jason Patrick Sims (Marci Ann) of Justin, TX, Jessica Lynn Holt (Eric Scott) of Haslet, TX and Jeffrey Michael Sims (Michaela Marie) of Trophy Club, TX; her great grandchildren, Cole Michael Plowman, Chase Stephen Plowman, Braedon Michael Sims, Olivia Marie Sims and Sophia Grace Holt; her sister Helen Orman of DesMoines, IA; and her sister-in-law Linda Sims of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She also is a part president of the TENCO Foundation and the St. Patrick Home & School Association.
