Though Mary Lou may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Lou touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Frank Gray and Ellen Irene Gray (Gwinn); her husband William Everett Hickerson; and her son Glen. She is survived by: her sons, Don Hickerson of Bradley, IL and Gene Hickerson of Clarence, IA; and her sister Flo Burley. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
