With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loris Elaine Thomas of Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward McNair and Lema McNair (Lint); her siblings, Dorothy McNair, Lloyd McNair (Twyla) and Rosetta Evans (Al); her nephew Eddie McNair; and her niece Pamela Evans.

She is survived by : her former life partner Lloyd Lienemann; her daughter Lorraine Dee Lienemann (Joel); her former life partner Leslie Thomas; her husband Maurice "Morrie" Trego; her grandsons, Jeffrey Hibbs (Donna), Braden Hibbs and Adam Hibbs (Casey); her great grandchildren, Spencer, Reid and Theodore Hibbs; her nephew Mark Evans; her sister Kathy Moad (Bob); her nieces, Marcy Gode, Cindy Anderson (Tom) and Dawn Douglas; and her nephew Dale McNair.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Chariton Cemetery (901 S Main St, Chariton, IA 50049).

Memorials may be made in Loris' name to the Alzheimer's Association, Animal Lifeline of Iowa, or WesleyLife Foundation (because of their excellent care).
