She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Grubbs and Nancy Grubbs (Thomas); her husband Dean Burns; her grandson Edwin Lovain; and her siblings, Carol Hatcher (Eddie) and James Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McCracken (Paulette) of Nevada, Iowa, Sue Lovain (Douglas) of Cohutta, Georgia, Patty Duffield (Mike) of Swan, Iowa, Patrick McCracken (Cindy) of Chariton, Iowa, Tony Dean Burns (Sue) of Pleasantville, Iowa and Debbie Hopp (Pete) of Wilton, Iowa; and her brother Harold Grubbs (Lois) of Longmont. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
