As Leo departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Leo. Though Leo may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Schaefer (Dustin) and Steve Williams (Melisa); his grandchildren, Michael Schaefer (Samantha), Michelle Schaefer, Christina Williams and Kirk Williams; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Logan. He is also survived by many other relatives and great friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in care of Leo's family, to be designated at a later date.
