We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Larry Skinner in Chariton, Iowa, born in Osceola, Iowa. As we bid Larry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Larry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Skinner and Irmogene Marie Weidenhaft; and his grandparents, George E. Weidenhaft, Twyla H. Weidenhaft (Wells), John Herman Skinner and Mamie Skinner (Johnson).
He is survived by: his sisters, Janet James (Larry) of Grimes and Judy Goodrich (Kenneth) of Osceola; and his close friend Theresa Casazza.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (1122 S Ridge Rd, Osceola, IA 50213).
