With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Reece of Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on February 17, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Reece and Nadine Plumb Reece; his former wife Ramona Luiken; his brothers, Leo Reece and LaVern Reece; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Reece and Mike McGrew.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Reece; his children, Brad Reece (Cathy) of Chariton, Connie Carpenter (Terry) of Chariton and Tracy Reece (Kelley) of Chariton; his grandchildren, Jenna Beary (Joel), Andrea McGee (Logan), Alissa Evans (Bradley), Haley Reece (Ryan Putz), Riley Reece, Kurt Carpenter (Whitney) and Kyle Carpenter (Kelci); his great grandchildren, Ella, Knox, Olivia, Isabelle, Kade, Weston, Kenzie and Kacie; his sisters, Joan Vannordstrand (John) and Sharon Willey (Ron); and his sister-in-law Dolores Reece.
Memorials may be made to the Lucas County Humane Society or the Chariton Volunteer Fire Department.
