She was predeceased by: her parent Fern Cottingham; her stepson William Michael Grimes; and her grandsons, Brandon and Brett Prough. She is survived by: her husband Bill Grimes; her children, Marla McGinn (Mike) of Iowa City, Kurt Prough (Julie) of Chariton and Linn Prough (Lorrie) of Indianola; and her stepdaughters, Kathy Bogaards (Douglas) and Suzanne Grimes. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
