John Hardie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hardie of Chariton, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Hardie (Nelson) and Lloyd Hardie; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his spouse Jaynane Braida; his children, David Hardie and Amy Hardie; his grandchildren, Maddison DeVore (Trevor), Nate Hardie and Kendall Hardie; his great grandchild Trice DeVore; and his brother Bill Hardie (Kandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Smile Train (a charity that helps children with cleft treatment) or the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
