John B. Schoondyke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Schoondyke (Chariton, Iowa), who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather Rex Campbell; and his siblings, Rose Cosper, Linda Fessler and Norman Schoondyke. He is survived by: his wife Sharol Stout; his daughters, Shelley Payne (Tim) and Tina Riley (Patrick); his grandchildren, Alex Payne, Nettie Grubb (Catlen), Jason Scott (Jenny), Niki Mumford (Caleb), Allison VoPava (Brian Lee) and Hunter Riley; his great grandchildren, Kaytee, Karie, Allysa, Noah, Dexter, Ella and Gunner; and his sister Colleen Hasbrook. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
