She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Means and Barbara Means (Pirnat); her parents-in-law, Dale and Gertie Ruffcorn; and her brother-in-law Jerry Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Garrett of Chariton; her sons, Steve (Leasa Garrett) of Indianola, IA and Scott (Brandi Garrett) of Tiffin, IA; her grandchildren, Collin Garrett and Ellie Garrett; and her siblings, Susan (George Brown) of Chariton, IA, Diane Clark of Chariton, IA, David Means of Chariton, IA and Pat (Pam Means) of Leon, IA. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial has been established to the Vision II Theater, Projector Fund and contributions may be mailed to or left at the funeral home.
