He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Snook and Frances Snook (Barger); his wife Anita Greer; his son Paul; his in-laws, Vernie and Martha Greer; his sister Shirley Colewell; his siblings-in-law, Charles Erb, Jim Ray Young, Jack Colwell and Betty Snook; and his nephews, Jaime Young and Rick Snook.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Snook (Shelly) of Carlisle and Steve Snook (Lisa) of Eastvale, CA; his grandchildren, Brianna Snook, Adam Snook (Samantha), Jacob Snook, Joshua Snook, Joseph Snook, Kelsie Snook and Brandon Snook; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Coleson, Elle, Lane Snook, Alexander Snook, Jaxon, Kennedy Snook and Stephen Ward; his siblings, Burl Snook, Ivan Snook and Sandra Wade (Rick); and his sister-in-law Gladys Erb. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fielding Funeral Home (227 S Grand St, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Humeston Cemetery.
