James Kerns Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2020, at the age of 85, James Kerns (Chariton, Iowa), born in Burlington, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Kerns to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kerns and Gladys Kerns (Lambertson); and his brother Donald Kerns. He is survived by: his wife Anne Kerns (Heston); his children, Bill Kerns (Barb Grabner-Kerns), Jeff Kerns (Donna), Jill Kerns and Mike Kerns (April); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Abby, Elizabeth and Samuel; and his sisters, Marjorie Schwenker (Kerns) and Evelyn Pritchard (Kerns). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to either Chariton Christian Church or Lucas County Interchurch Council.
