He is survived by: his wife Lois Danner; his daughters, Joyce Rider (Fred) and Susan DeZwarte (Arlan); his grandchildren, Daniel Ritter (Kellie), David Ritter (Renee), Jacob Ritter (Olivia), Kyle McGee (Kristi), Scott McGee (Jewel), Zebulan DeZwarte, Kari Pollitt (Jesse) and Julie Ritter; his great grandchildren, Calob, Noah, Nathan, Abby, Dillon, Thomas, Elijah, Karson, Jessalyn, Kassidy, Ivy, Lucas, Ali and Tory; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Danner, Ellen Danner and Dorothy Williams (Jim). He is also survived by family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in care of Herman's family to be used for a memorial bench.
