He was predeceased by: his brother Perry Willoughby; his parents-in-law, Clair and Virginia Hatfield; his brother-in-law Jay Smith; and his nephew Jon Willoughby.
He is survived by: his parents, Lloyd Willoughby and Frances Jean Willoughby (Mix); his wife Lynn; his sons, Nelson Willoughby (Corrie), Aaron Willoughby (Sarah) and Neil Willoughby (Sarah); his siblings, Lary Willoughby (Kathy), Craig Willoughby (Becky) and Tonya Cooper (Dave); his grandchildren, Isaac, Dyanna, Levi, Trevor and Creek; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Willoughby and Kathy Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Chariton, the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department, or Melcher-Dallas Little League.
