She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gwinn and Nellie Gwinn (Rouse); her husband Joseph Howard Sanders; her son Jack Dean Sanders; and her sisters, Ida Skinner and Opal Medaris.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Sanders of Chariton and Chuck Sanders (Lois) of Apache Junction; and her siblings, Ronald Gwinn of Des Moines and Judy Chapin of Monroe. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
