With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Donald Edwards (Chariton, Iowa), born in Corydon, Iowa, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edwards and Wanda Edwards (Wilson); his former wife Joann Sciezinki Edwards; his sister Deborah Edwards; his brother-in-law Ron Cook; his parents-in-law, William and Edith Quint; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Brenda Mapes.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Edwards (Peluse); his children, Sarah Constantino (Tony), Michael Edwards and Lisa Edwards; his stepson James Doyle; his siblings, Cheryl Cook, David Edwards (Vicky), Linda Steenhoek (Gary), Sharon Peluse and Butch Peluse (Laurie); his stepgrandchildren, Kerrigan and Chandler Constantino; and his stepgreat-grandson Everett Salemi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don's name to the Chariton Christian Church - Disciples of Christ, 1100 Ilion Avenue, Chariton, Iowa, 50049.
