He was predeceased by: his parents, William Putz and Catherine Putz (Schneider); and his stepfather Virgil Schurman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Schneider; his children, Jackie Putz, Ed Putz Jr. (Merrie), Becky Ingvaldson (Scott), James Putz, Bill Putz, Steve Putz and Kim Putz (Tom Frerk); his grandchildren, Faith, Mackenzie, Evan, Breanna, Eli, Aiden, Jaxon and Teigen; and his siblings, Judy Garrett (Chris), Marge Williams, Jerry Putz (Joanne), Barb Hanna, Bob Putz (Kay) and Tony Putz (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
