We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dwight M. Thompson of Chariton, Iowa, born in Russell, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Mable Thompson (Gilbert) and Merwyn Thompson; and his brother Burdette Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Teresa Dolinsek; his children, Michael (Laura Mercier) of Oak Park, Illinois, Brenda (Jeff Nuckles) of Reidsville and Teresa (Courtland Pfaff) of Urbandale, Iowa.; his sister Lois Ann Reynolds (George) of Centerville, Iowa.; his granddaughters, Chelsea Hatchel (Cory) of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Courtney Strzelecki of Mooresville; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Eden Hatchel of Lee's Summit, Missouri.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent for the Chariton Kiwanis Club or the First United Methodist Church of Chariton.
